Trump approves of Terry McAuliffe's pro-LGBT, anti-Christian policy

Trump approves of Terry McAuliffe's pro-LGBT, anti-Christian policy
- Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe just vetoed a bill that would have protected the constitutionally guaranteed right to freely practice one’s religious beliefs. Specifically, the law would have prohibited the government from punishing business owners who believe in traditional marriage and choose to exercise that belief in their public lives.
Of course, as you are probably now aware, the law in question has something to do with the LGBT assault on Christianity.

Trump Covertly Dismantles Obama-Era LGBT Protections

Trump Covertly Dismantles Obama-Era LGBT Protections
- Trump has flip-flopped once again on his promise to protect LGBT workers who work for federal contractors from workplace discrimination.
Trump signed an order on Monday revoking protections signed into law by President Obama in 2014. Obama signed an executive order banning LGBT discrimination among federal contractors; he concurrently signed an order requiring contracted businesses prove they're complying with federal laws and executive orders. President Trump rescinded the latter order, making it much more difficult to know whether a business has committed to ending LGBT bias in hiring, firing, and promotions.
Lambda Legal condemned Trump's actions, saying, “This administration has made it extremely difficult to enforce these federal laws as applied to federal contractors.” “It’s sending a message to these companies,” said Camilla Taylor, senior counsel at Lambda Legal, “…that the federal government simply doesn’t care whether or not they violate the law.”

Trump just gutted the LGBT executive order he promised not to touch

Trump just gutted the LGBT executive order he promised not to touch
- An executive order President Trump signed Monday rescinded an executive order President Obama implemented that would have required companies that contract with the federal government to provide documentation about their compliance with various federal laws. Some have argued that this will make it harder to enforce the LGBT protections President Obama implemented for employees of federal contractors — as well as many other protections those workers enjoyed.
Trump rescinded the Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces order, also known as Executive Order 13673, that President Obama issued in 2014. That order required companies wishing to contract with the federal government to show that they’ve complied with various federal laws and other executive orders. Notably, Obama issued that order in tandem with Executive Order 13672, which prohibited contractors from discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Sean Spicer scolds African-American reporter: "Stop shaking your head again"
- White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer once again had a combative press briefing with reporters Tuesday, downplaying the investigation into the Trump campaign's alleged ties to Russia and patronizing an African-American reporter asking questions about the inquiry.
"I've said it from the day that I got here until whatever that there is no connection," Spicer said in a testy exchange with April D. Ryan, a veteran White House correspondent from the American Urban Radio Networks who was asking about the House investigation into the alleged Russian ties. "You've got Russia. If the president puts Russian salad dressing on his salad tonight, somehow that's a Russian connection."
